SWRN+ and your data

SWRN+ (Showrun+) is the guide to action sports competitions live and on replay. It consists of this presentation site, showrun.tv, and the app, app.showrun.tv. This policy describes the personal data SWRN+ processes, what it is used for, how long it is kept, who receives it and how to exercise your rights.

The schedule and the videos played in the app are available without an account.

SWRN+ does not sell or rent any personal data and shows no targeted advertising. Any ads you may see in the videos are served by YouTube.

Where the data comes from

The data comes from you, from your use of the site and the app (IP address, requested addresses, playback position read from the YouTube player) or is produced by SWRN+ (dates).

SWRN+ does no profiling.

Data controller

The data controller is the company that publishes SWRN+. It has not appointed a data protection officer: for any question, write to the contact address.

Visiting the site and the app

Like any web server, the SWRN+ server records each request in technical logs.

Audience measurement

Only with your consent, this site and the app measure their audience with Google Analytics: page views, visit length, device type, approximate country and city, and a few actions (click on the contact address, sharing, installing the app). Without consent, no measurement tool is loaded. The site and the app each keep your choice.

Google Analytics cookies expire at most 13 months after your last measured visit. Your choice is kept for 13 months in your browser. You can change it at any time from the "Cookies" link at the bottom of the page: if you refuse, measurement stops and the measurement cookies are deleted.

Settings kept on your device

To work, the app keeps in your browser's storage the sports chosen on the home page, the resume position of the last 50 videos watched, the theme and your consent choice.

This information stays on your device.

YouTube videos

Videos play in YouTube's official player, in privacy-enhanced mode. The player only loads when you open a video. SWRN+ uses YouTube API Services to start playback, control it and read the playback position, which is used to resume.

When the player loads, YouTube, a Google service, receives your IP address and information about your device, and may set or read cookies and trackers in your browser. YouTube may also show ads in the videos. Google carries out this processing on its own behalf, under its own rules.

SWRN+ does not access your Google or YouTube account. The playback position and the video length, read from the player, are kept on your device. Deleting data at SWRN+ has no effect on the data kept by YouTube: for that data, use YouTube or your Google account.

Recipients

Access to the data is restricted to authorized SWRN+ staff and to the service providers below, each for its own part. These providers process the data on behalf of SWRN+ and on its instructions.

YouTube acts on its own behalf, under its own rules.

SWRN+ only discloses data to an authority when the law requires it.

Transfers outside the European Union

The SWRN+ server is located in France (Paris), and the host's backup copies stay in the European Union.

Google, for YouTube and for audience measurement, may process data in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which provides an adequate level of protection according to the European Commission; transfers outside its scope rely on the Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its use, object to processing based on legitimate interest and receive the data you provided in a reusable format. You can withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what was done before. You can also give instructions on what happens to your data after your death.

To exercise these rights, write to the contact address. SWRN+ replies within one month at most and carries out a deletion request within 7 days.

If you believe your rights are not respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority, or with the data protection authority of your country of residence.
